OVERVIEW

Pilates Near Me — Serving Ann Arbor & the Surrounding Area

Searching for Pilates near you usually turns up the same thing — a packed group reformer class where the instructor barely gets to your form once. TrueForm Pilates takes a different approach entirely: every session is private, duet, or trio only, based in Saline and easily reachable from across Washtenaw County. If you're near Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Milan, Chelsea, or anywhere in between, you're closer to real one-on-one Pilates than you think.

WHAT WE OFFER
Same Format, Wherever You Start From

No matter where you're searching from, the format is the same: private, duet, or trio sessions on real Pilates apparatus, with an instructor who's actually watching your form the whole time. First time in? Try a single intro session for $75, or the 3-session intro package for $195.

01

Real Apparatus

Reformer, Cadillac/tower and ladder barrel, used properly — not a mat class with a prop box.

02

One, Two Or Three

Every booking is a private, duet or trio. Nothing larger is offered, at any time, on any day.

03

The Same Teacher

Carly Jakubowski owns the studio and teaches it. No rota, no stand-ins you've never met.

QUESTIONS

Before You Book

Is there a Pilates studio near me?

If you're anywhere near Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Milan, Chelsea, or Dexter, TrueForm Pilates is within about a 30-minute drive. We're a private studio, not a group class — see the location links on this page for directions from your area.

What's the difference between a private, duet, and trio session?

Headcount, and nothing else. Private means one student and one instructor for the full 50 minutes. Duet means two — you and someone you bring — sharing both the session and the cost without losing hands-on correction. Trio means three, still small enough that nobody's form goes unwatched. There is no fourth tier: TrueForm doesn't run group classes at all.

What should I expect from my first visit?

Plan on about 50 minutes, one to one. It opens with a conversation — what you want out of it, anything injured or cranky, how active you've been — then moves into a guided introduction to the reformer and the rest of the apparatus. You'll be corrected as you go; that's the whole point of training this small. Come in fitted clothing you can move in, and bring socks, ideally the grippy kind. No prior Pilates experience is assumed.

WHO YOU TRAIN WITH

CARLY
JAKUBOWSKI

Owner-instructor, True Form Pilates

True Form is owner-operated. You train with the person whose name is on the studio, not whichever instructor the schedule assigned that week.

Every session here is private, duet, or trio, on the full classical apparatus. That means someone is watching how you move and adjusting the work to your body, session to session, instead of running a room of twelve through the same routine.
